How long would it take to be able to defend oneself effectively?

Specific self defense techniques are learned quickly, however on-going and regular practice is essential to develop rapid reflex actions, adequate strength, and the focus necessary to successfully protect oneself.

Will Karate help my children and myself with concentration and
co-ordination?

Yes. Karate involves simultaneous body and mind use. Over time, great improvements will occur in attentiveness, balance, strength, posture and confidence.
