What is Zen Yoga?

Zen Yoga is a simple, yet profound method for feeling better in body, mind and spirit. It is a holistic system that unites the human self by meeting the fundamental needs of physical health, mental clarity and spiritual peace.

Everyone is different. Learning how your own body functions is of the utmost importance. Zen Yoga, based on peaceful breathing, moving and stretching exercises, encourages going at your own pace and only doing what is right for you. Zen Yoga incorporates elements of Tai Chi which can be described as moving meditation. Its graceful, flowing movements encourage the circulation of energy through the body. Zen Yoga also has elements of Chinese Qigong which help to fill the body with oxygen-rich blood and energy. Finally, Zen Yoga also contains aspects of Zen meditation which will help you to think more clearly and with greater insight.
